The Large Suction Cup Plug from the Vac-U-Lock system by Doc Johnson is not a toy but the mount for one: a large, extra sturdy suction cup with a Vac-U-Lock plug, made for the larger attachments in the system. Vac-U-Lock is a plug-in system: attachments with a matching socket go onto the plug and then stand hands-free. The plug sits in the middle of the round suction plate and has a rounded tip and two steps running round it; a small tab sticks out sideways at the edge. The cup holds on smooth, clean surfaces such as tile or a bath; on wood, wallpaper or rough stone no suction cup holds. Two things help in practice: wipe the surface and the cup dry before pressing, because a film of lubricant is what makes a cup let go, and press from the middle outwards so that no air stays underneath. How do you fit an attachment?

Place the socket in the base of the attachment on the tip of the plug and push it all the way down with even pressure until the attachment sits firmly and no longer wobbles. An ordinary dildo with its own suction cup or a closed end cannot be fitted.

How is it released?

By the tab at the edge: it lifts the cup, air gets underneath, and it lets go. Pulling on the attachment strains the plug.

Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one for the attachment, and plenty of it, because it suits every attachment material. Suitable ones are under water-based lubricant.

How is it cleaned?

Wash it with warm water and a sex toy cleaner, especially around the plug, and let it dry completely. Lint and dust on the suction surface stop it sealing tightly, so rinse it briefly before the next use.

How do you store it?

Lying flat with the suction surface facing down and with nothing stacked on top. A rim that lies bent for a long time warps and then no longer seals completely.
