Why does an anal toy need a base?

Because the sphincter pulls inward whatever it can grip, and the rectum has no natural limit. The base stays outside and prevents exactly that. A toy without a base does not belong in anal use.

Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one, and plenty of it, because nothing gets wet by itself anally. Oil and silicone gel attack the surface. The selection is under water-based lubricant, thicker ones under anal and fisting lubricant.

How do you start?
