Long and inflatable: the Colt Hefty Probe anal plug by CalExotics is a long, slightly curved probe in black latex with a rounded tip. A clear hose connects it to a black pump bulb. You insert it uninflated and then decide with every squeeze how much fullness you want. The valve lets the air out again, and only then does it come out. So pump slowly, wait between squeezes and only go as far as stays comfortable, and let the air out at once if it hurts rather than pushing through; a leaking or sticking valve is a reason to retire it. At the bottom sits a wide base that stays outside; that is a must for every anal toy, because the sphincter pulls inward whatever it can grip. Latex asks for three things. Anyone allergic to natural latex should choose another material; if unsure, test on the inside of the elbow first. Oil and fat break latex down, so only water-based lubricant belongs with it. Where is the release valve?

Right below the pump bulb, at the start of the hose. The hose leaves at the bottom of the base, and the base itself has ridges running around it.

How much lubricant does it take?

Plenty, because nothing gets wet by itself anally. Spread it along the whole length of the probe and at the entrance, and top up as soon as it starts to feel tacky. The selection is under water-based lubricant, thicker ones under anal and fisting lubricant.

How do I start with it?

In a relaxed position, for example on your side with your knees drawn up, and as you breathe out. With this length, take extra time and follow the curve of the probe as you insert it. The first time, one or two squeezes are enough; more fullness comes only in later sessions.

How do I clean it?
