Why does the motor sit at the front?

Because silicone dampens vibration. A motor in the base has to travel the whole length and arrives weakened at the top; a bullet in the tip does not. On a short plug like this one the difference is clearly felt.

Can the bullet be taken out?

It sits in the setting and is removed for charging. That has the side effect that the silicone body can be washed completely without electronics being in the way.

How far does the remote reach?

Across the same room in any case, often the next one too. No more is intended: the appeal lies in somebody nearby doing the switching, not in great distance. It charges separately from the toy, so it is not flat mid-play.

How is it cleaned?

Warm water and toy cleaner, keeping clear of the charging contacts and letting it dry completely. The only lubricant that belongs with it is water-based lubricant, because silicone-based products attack the surface.
