The Cross Back Babydoll by Subblime is a short black chemise whose best side is the back. At the front, two cups of scalloped lace form a deep V neckline; below them a smooth, soft fabric falls loosely to below the hips. At the back the babydoll is wide open: two narrow straps cross between the shoulder blades, and a lace insert closes the opening at the bottom. At the side of the hem there is a short slit trimmed with lace that shows a little leg as you walk. The fabric of polyester with a little elastane gives slightly. A matching thong comes with the babydoll; stockings, shoes and jewellery in the pictures are not included. Which size do you choose?

By your bust measurement. Only the cups and straps sit close to the body; the skirt below falls freely and does not cling to tummy or hips. L/XL combines two dress sizes in one cut; if you are between two sizes, take the larger one, because lingerie should fit snugly, not dig in.

How does the open back wear?

Free and airy. The crossed straps hold the top in place without a fastening pressing anywhere. A bra would show with this back; the top is cut to be worn without one.

How do you wash it?

Most gently by hand in cool water with a little delicate detergent. Afterwards press the water out carefully instead of wringing the babydoll, and let it dry flat in the air. Wash the thong the same way.

What goes with it?

Hold-up stockings or a light dressing gown. You will find more lingerie to combine under lingerie.
