The Kea babydoll by Casmir is cut from sheer black tulle and comes here in size L/XL. Two triangle cups of the same tulle form the top, held by thin spaghetti straps. Directly under the bust runs a narrow satin band, from which the fabric falls loosely and wide to just below the bottom. In the middle of this band sits a satin bow whose long ends hang down at the front. At the side the hem opens into a short slit with a second, smaller bow, and a glossy satin edging finishes the lower edge. The tulle hides nothing, it just lays a dark veil over the skin, on which the satin details draw clear lines. It sits under lingerie, under lingerie for women and in our for the top section.

Which figure is L/XL meant for?

L/XL is cut for dress sizes L and XL. With a babydoll, what matters is the width at the bust and under the bust: there the satin band should lie smoothly without cutting in. Thanks to elastane the tulle gives a little and evens out small differences.

How do you wash tulle and satin?

Gentlest by hand in cool water with a little delicate detergent. Afterwards just press the water out gently instead of wringing, and let the babydoll dry lying flat. That way the bows keep their shape and the satin edging stays smooth.

How do you store it?

Loosely folded in a compartment of its own or in a laundry bag. Fine tulle quickly pulls threads when it catches on hooks, zips or rough edges. Lay the ends of the bow flat on the fabric so they do not crease.

What is the side slit for?

It gives the short skirt more freedom of movement when walking and sitting and reveals the hip with every movement. The small bow on it repeats the motif of the large bow at the front.
