Light, sheer and short: the Kea babydoll by Casmir is made of fine black tulle with glossy satin accents, here in size S/M. The top is formed by two triangle-cut cups hanging from narrow spaghetti straps. The straps are so thin that they hardly show and leave the shoulders and décolleté free. A satin band under the bust sets the waist high, and below it the tulle swings freely and ends just below the bottom. A satin bow is attached in the middle of the band, its two ribbons falling long over the skirt. At the side a short slit divides the hem, and a small satin bow sits there too. The lower edge is bound with satin edging, which gives the light fabric a little hold. The earrings and the bracelet in the picture are not included. It sits under lingerie, under lingerie for women and in our for the top section.

How sheer is the tulle?

Completely. It works like a dark veil through which the skin stays visible everywhere. Only the narrow satin parts are opaque, that is band, bows and hem edging.

Will S/M fit me?

S/M is cut for dress sizes S and M. Pay attention above all to the underbust width, because that is where the satin band rests, and it should neither slip nor press. With its elastane content the tulle gives a little, and below that the skirt falls loosely anyway.

How do you clean the babydoll?

Gentlest by hand in cool water with a mild delicate detergent. Afterwards press the water carefully into a towel and let the piece dry spread out flat, so that bows and edges keep their shape.

How do you store fine tulle?

Ideally away from clothing with hooks, eyes or zips, because tulle quickly pulls threads on them. A laundry bag or a compartment of its own in the drawer is enough. Lay the long bow ribbons smoothly beside it.
