The Babydoll Set Gianella by Livco Corsetti relies on narrow straps rather than lace. The triangular cups are made of sheer tulle with dark butterfly motifs, and along the inner edge of each one an extra strap runs up to the shoulder strap. Below the bust the babydoll is cut out on both sides. Below that comes the tulle skirt, which ends at the upper thigh. A black thong is included. What holds the cut-outs together?

Two horizontal straps that start below the cups, are joined at the sides by short vertical struts and meet in a loop at the centre front. The skin between them stays bare.

What does the back look like?

At the back the babydoll is closed. There the tulle reaches from the straps to the hem; only a narrow band runs across at waist height.

Where are the butterflies?

Only on the two cups, spread over the tulle in different sizes. Skirt and back are plain tulle without a motif.

How sheer is the set?

Very. Cups and skirt let the skin show through; no part of this babydoll is opaque.

How is the thong cut?

With a narrow black triangle at the front and a thin strip at the back; the waistband is a simple narrow band.

How does the skirt fall?

It starts right below the straps and widens slightly towards the bottom. So it does not cling to the stomach but sways a little with every movement.

What size is S/M?

A double size covering S and M. With a fifth of elastane in the material, the tulle and straps give a little when worn.

How do you care for the set?

It is gentlest to wash it by hand in cool water. Afterwards only press it gently and let it dry lying flat.
