The suspender-look bodystocking by Leg Avenue is made from a smooth, fine knit and looks like a body with stockings, but is a single piece. At the top it hangs from two spaghetti straps with a straight neckline, and a fine seam runs vertically down the front of the torso. Are these real suspenders?

No. The suspenders are strips of the same knit; there is nothing on them to fasten or adjust.

How see-through is the knit?

Semi-sheer: close up the skin shows through, from a little distance the surface looks black and smooth.

What is included?

Only the bodystocking. The nude thong in the pictures is not included.

What size is it meant for?

For roughly EU 34 to 40 as one size. The knit stretches well in width but little in length; if you are very tall, you notice it first at the straps.

How do you put it on?

Gather one leg down to the toe, step in and roll the knit up to the thigh, then the second. After that pull up the top, put the straps over your shoulders and straighten the cut-outs at the hips.

How do you care for it?

Ideally cold, by hand with a little delicates detergent, then rolled in a towel and dried flat. In a tumble dryer the nylon loses its stretch.

What do you do about a ladder?

A drop of clear nail varnish at both ends stops it. In the smooth knit, though, the spot stays more visible than in net or lace.
