Lubricant JoyDivision BIOglide safe Carrageenan Water Based 100 ml 🌿
BIOglide safe Carrageenan by JoyDivision is a water-based lubricant in a tube with a flip cap. Its special ingredient is carrageenan from red algae. “safe” is part of the variety name and no promise of protection, because a lubricant does not replace a condom. The recipe is vegan. It stands with lubricant, under water-based lubricant, with the condoms and in the drugstore section.

❓ FAQ
What is carrageenan?
An extract from red algae, such as Irish moss. In food production it is known as a thickener; in the gel it is one ingredient of the recipe. As a food additive carrageenan carries the number E 407.
Does the gel suit condoms and toys?
Yes. Water-based lubricant is compatible with latex condoms and all toy materials, silicone included. For sex with a condom it is therefore an uncomplicated choice.
Does the gel get tacky over time?
Over time a water-based gel soaks in and loses its glide. A few drops of water or a little fresh gel bring it back.
How do you handle the tube?
Flip the cap open, squeeze a small amount into your palm and warm it briefly between your fingers before you apply it. After use you close the cap again so that nothing dries on the rim. Squeeze the tube from the end, then little gel goes unused right to the last.
How much gel do you use?
For vaginal sex a walnut-sized dab is often enough; for anal sex or large toys it can be more. Better to top up than to start too sparingly.
How do you clean skin and toys afterwards?
Warm water is enough to remove the residue. Rinse toys as well and let them dry completely before you put them away.
Water, silicone or oil: which base for what?
Silicone lasts longer and also works in the shower, oil is mainly for massages without a condom. How the three bases differ in everyday use is compared in detail in the lubricant guide.
