The Body Patischia by Livco Corsetti is made of a transparent beige fabric covered by a black baroque pattern of tendrils and ornaments. It is sleeveless with deep armholes that leave the shoulders bare, closes at the neck with a stand-up collar and is cut high on the legs. The shoes in the pictures are not included. How does the pattern look when worn?

The beige base recedes against the skin, so it is mainly the black ornaments that catch the eye. From a little distance it is reminiscent of a large tattoo.

How see-through is the body?

Where the ornaments are dense it covers more; in the gaps the skin shows through the beige fabric.

How is the pattern spread?

Over the whole surface, front and back: large round medallions sit on the bust and stomach, with tendrils winding between them up to the collar and down into the crotch.

How is the body cut at the back?

Closed, with no cut-out. Towards the bottom it narrows and is cut brief. On the back two large medallions sit exactly one above the other, one at the top and one at the waist.

What do you wear underneath?

Ideally nothing, as the body replaces bra and briefs. Skin-coloured underwear would hardly stand out under the beige base, while dark underwear would show through.

How does it fit?

Closely. Polyester with a fifth of elastane stretches with you and lies smoothly against the body.

What can it be combined with?

Under an open blazer or with a black skirt it looks like a tight top, and the pattern shows well there.

How do you wash it?

Most gently by hand in cool water with a little mild detergent, ideally turned inside out. Then lay it flat to dry.
