The Melanie consists of two parts on a flexible stem: at the front a rose with a tongue that moves in a zigzag, at the back a bud-shaped swelling for insertion. Both work at the same time and switch separately - that is the point of the design. The stem between them is soft enough to adapt to anatomy but firm enough for both ends to stay where you put them. The zigzag movement is something other than the stroking or tapping of the simpler models: it changes direction instead of running evenly. Whether you prefer it is a matter of taste. What does a zigzag tongue mean?

The tongue does not run evenly in one direction but keeps changing it. That feels more restless than a stroking or tapping movement and therefore reaches more spots. Even-running models are at lay-on vibrators.

Do you have to use both ends at once?

No, they switch separately. If you only want the outside, leave the bud aside; if you only want the inside, the other way round. The flexible stem makes both possible without anything getting in the way.

Wash it with warm water and a product from the sex toy cleaner category and let it dry in the open. Silicone is non-porous, so nothing settles in it. Store it without contact to other silicone toys - two silicone surfaces can stick together and go dull.

Over USB. Charge it fully once before first use - that noticeably extends the life of the battery. If you use it rarely, still top it up every few months; a deeply discharged battery takes damage.
