The Tactical Collar with Leash by Fort Troff and Doc Johnson does without a buckle: it closes with a wide Velcro strap, is lined with soft neoprene and has a metal D-ring the leash clips onto. The leash is a chain with a hand loop and can be detached. The collar is not meant for very large necks. The neck comes with the clearest rule in this product group: a collar may rest but never pull. No tension on the leash that constricts the neck, and never pull someone up by it. Two fingers have to fit between band and neck, and the chain comes off as soon as nobody is watching. Never leave anyone alone wearing collar and leash, not even briefly. Velcro opens in seconds; scissors still belong within reach. How tightly may it sit?

So that two fingers fit between band and neck, and not a millimetre tighter. The Velcro adjusts steplessly. If breathing or swallowing gets harder, the collar comes off at once.

How is the leash used?

It clips onto the D-ring and hangs loose. Leading here means gently indicating a direction, not pulling, and never jerking. When the leash is not needed, it comes off.

What should be discussed beforehand?

Limits and a safeword. A safeword is a word that is not part of the play and at which everything stops at once: no questions, no discussion. Along with an agreement on what is allowed in this session and what is not. Both are settled soberly and in advance, not in the middle of things. Anyone gagged needs a signal instead of a word.

How is it cleaned?
