How safe are they?

No condom protects one hundred per cent. Used correctly, it lowers the risk of sexually transmitted infections and of unplanned parenthood. Use a new condom every time.

Are they suitable for people with a latex allergy?

Yes. Polyisoprene is a synthetic material without natural rubber. The condoms are therefore meant for people who are allergic to latex or suspect an allergy.

What does the nominal width mean?

It is the width of the condom lying flat. Elite is the regular size. If a condom is too narrow it pinches, if it is too wide it can slip.

What matters when opening and putting one on?

Care, especially with such thin material. Open the foil by hand, never with your teeth, scissors or other sharp objects, and mind your fingernails. Place the condom with the rolled rim facing out, squeeze the air out of the reservoir and roll it down over the erect penis before there is any contact. If you have put it on the wrong way round, take a new one.

Which lubricant goes with them?

A water- or silicone-based one. Leave out oil, petroleum jelly and greasy creams, as they can weaken polyisoprene too. You will find a selection under water-based lubricant.

Are two on top of each other safer?

No. Two condoms rub against each other and tear more easily than one. Always use just one condom.

How do you store them?

Cool, dry and out of direct sunlight. A trouser pocket or the glove compartment is unsuitable because heat and friction wear the material. Check the expiry date and do not use an expired condom.
