Where is the limit, at the head or at the balls?

Why is no diameter given?

What does the suction base hold on to?

Smooth, dense surfaces such as tiles, the tub floor or a mirror. On wood, wallpaper and anything porous it does not hold. Dampen both surfaces briefly, keep lubricant away from the plate, and lift the edge to release it instead of pulling the shaft.

What do I need to know about PVC?

PVC is soft and inexpensive but not non-porous. It can be cleaned, not sterilised, and it does not tolerate boiling.
