🧪 Silicone, PVC or TPE – not the same thing

53 items are silicone, 35 PVC and 27 TPE. That is the most important distinction inside the brand: silicone is non-porous, boilable and long-lasting. PVC and TPE are porous – they cannot be sterilised, they pick up odours if not dried properly, and they turn tacky over time unless powdered. If a porous toy is shared, it always belongs under a condom.

For all three materials the same rule applies: water-based lubricant only. Silicone-based gel attacks silicone, and with PVC and TPE it is not the safe choice either.

How do I tell whether a toy is silicone or PVC?

From the material entry in the product description – guessing does not help, as both can be skin-coloured and soft. At Get Real, 53 items are silicone and 62 are PVC or TPE. If boilability and durability matter to you, look specifically for silicone.

Why does a TPE toy turn tacky?

Because the material is porous and plasticisers migrate to the surface. That cannot be undone, but it can be prevented: let the toy dry completely and dust it thinly with cornstarch or renewing powder before you put it away. Store it separately from other toys.

What is an extension sleeve for?

It is pulled over the penis and lengthens or thickens it. Get Real carries them in medium, long and XLarge; the silicone version comes at 10 and 13 cm, one of them with vibration. Lubricant goes both inside and outside.

Do the strap-on harnesses include a dildo?

No. The four items are harnesses only. You choose the dildo separately – make sure it has a base that fits the ring of the harness.
