Can the gap between the shafts be changed?

No, it is fixed. Both shafts stand slightly angled next to each other and bend only a little; whatever you take in your hand stays in this position.

Why is it not meant for the bottom?

Because it has no stop. A toy for anal use needs a firmly moulded base or plinth that is clearly wider than the shaft so it cannot slip all the way in. On the Arthus the shafts run into the block without a separate flange, and the testicles alone are not a stop.

Which lubricant does it take?

Water-, silicone- and hybrid-based lubricant. Water-based rinses off most easily, while silicone gel lasts longer and needs topping up less often.

Does it stand securely?

On a level surface it stands upright thanks to its flat underside. It cannot be stuck down by suction, so when you sit on it you hold it at the block with one hand.

How do you look after it?

Wash both shafts after every use with warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner, including the narrow groove between them. Let it air-dry and keep it dust-free without it touching other toys. If you share it, a fresh condom goes over the shaft for each person.
