How do the seals work?

Thread the shackle through the eyelet on the cage and press its end into the housing until it clicks in. The seal can only be opened again by cutting the shackle.

Why are the seals numbered?

Whoever is in control notes the number of the seal in use. If the cage later carries a different number, it was opened in between.

Seal or padlock?

A seal keeps the cage closed without any metal and is used up once cut. The padlock, on the other hand, can be locked and unlocked as often as you like.

Do they fit every cage?
