Hot Silc Glide is a silicone-based lubricant by Hot for the intimate area, and unlike the brand’s Premium range it is perfumed. It contains dimethicone, neopentyl glycol diheptanoate and isododecane, plus fragrance with the scent components limonene, linalool and alpha-isomethyl ionone. Silicone does not soak into the skin and does not evaporate, so the film stays slippery for a long time, in the shower or the bath as well. It is made in Germany and keeps for six months after opening. Why not with silicone toys?

Silicone oil can dissolve the surface of a toy made of silicone. It turns dull and eventually tacky, and that damage cannot be undone. Toys made of glass, stainless steel or hard plastic such as ABS are fine to use with it. For your silicone toys, choose a gel from water-based lubricant.

What about the fragrance?

If your skin reacts to fragrances, try the gel on a small area first, for example the crook of your arm, and wait a day. If it stings or itches, wash it off with soap and choose an unscented silicone gel instead, for example from silicone lubricant.

How much do you need?

Start with one or two drops, spread them with your fingers and only take more when it is needed. You notice too much on the bedding rather than in the feeling.

How do you get it off again?

From the skin with warm water and soap. Out of fabric it comes less easily than a water-based gel, so a towel underneath protects sheets and sofa.

Is it suitable for anal sex?
