No, and that is the most important limitation: silicone oil attacks silicone and makes the surface dull and tacky, and that cannot be undone. For silicone toys take a gel from water-based lubricant. Toys made of glass, stainless steel or hard plastic such as ABS, on the other hand, are fine with it.

Is it condom-safe?

Yes, it suits latex condoms, unlike oil. Silicone does not attack latex, so a silicone gel is condom-safe.

What is it especially worth it for?

For long sessions, for anal and for sex in water: in the shower or bath it does not wash away.

How do I apply it?

A few drops on your fingers are enough to start; too much makes things slippery rather than better. Warm the drops briefly between your fingers so the first touch is not cold. On a condom it goes on the outside, never inside, otherwise the condom can slip off.
