Eros – 177 gels, oils and cleaners made in Germany 💧

Eros is a pure liquids brand: 50 water-based lubricants, 45 on a silicone base, 27 massage oils, 17 stimulation gels, twelve anal gels, ten fragrances and nine cleaners. Almost every formula comes in several fill sizes – from the 4 ml sample to the 5000 ml canister. Because that is so many individual items, we name a few examples per group rather than all 177.

The water-based gels 💦

The classic is called Aqua and comes as a 4 ml sample, in 100 ml, 175 ml and 200 ml. Set thicker is the viscous version in 500 ml, more economical the Sensations line in 250 ml and 1000 ml. Aimed at sensitive skin are Gentle for Women in 30 ml, in 100 ml and the hyaluron and panthenol formula in 100 ml and 200 ml. The Power line comes neutral in 125 ml, as Bodyglide in 50 ml, as Toyglide and with flavour as strawberry, cherry and vanilla – see water-based lubricant.

45 gels on a silicone base ✨

Bodyglide is the brand's best-known formula and comes in 50 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml and 1000 ml; alongside it there is the Classic as a 5 ml sample and in 175 ml. Particularly gentle is the Silk line with 50 ml, 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml and 1000 ml, plus the Silk in 175 ml. Twelve gels for anal play 🍑

On a water base there is the relaxing anal fisting gel in 100 ml and 500 ml as well as the anal gel for him. On a silicone base come the Superslip in 100 ml and 500 ml, the anal gel in 30 ml, in 100 ml and the Fist canister at 500 ml – see anal lubricant and anal plugs.

Massage oils and nuru gel 💆

The tantric oils come in 30 and 100 ml as neutral, vanilla, chocolate and cinnamon, the Luxus line as oriental in 30 ml, in 100 ml and as floral. A category of its own is the nuru gel with minerals – it comes in 250 ml, 500 ml, 1000 ml and 5000 ml – see massage products.

Stimulation, fragrances and cleaners 🌙

The stimulation products include the gel for the clitoris, the invigorating spray with arnica and clove, Power tingling for her, Power invigorating for her, the Power concentrate for him, the intimate oils Pompeii and Carthage as well as Studi 1001, Studi Forte and Prolong 101. As a fragrance there is Feroman for him, Ferowoman for her and the Ferowoman intimate deodorant. Latex care, capsules and one dildo 🧴

Made for latex clothing are the latex shine spray, the Fetish dressing aid and the latex dressing aid. Listed as dietary supplements are the Love Cocktail for her and Apium. Water or silicone – which do I take?

Water-based if silicone toys or condoms are involved: it is compatible with everything and washes off with clean water. Silicone-based if it needs to last, or if things move into water – but it attacks silicone surfaces. Eros covers both formulas with an anal version as well. More in the lubricant guide.

What is nuru gel?

A very thick, odourless gel based on algae, made for full-body massage – the whole body glides in it, not just the hands. That is why the 1000 and 5000 ml containers exist: a genuine nuru massage takes considerably more material than a back rub. A washable sheet underneath is a must, because nuru gel gets everywhere.

What should you watch out for with stimulation gels?

They work through warmth, cold or tingling on sensitive skin, and sensitivity varies a great deal. Test a small amount on the inside of your elbow first and apply sparingly to begin with. If it burns, wash it off with lukewarm water, not with oil. The two preparations taken orally are dietary supplements and replace no medicine.

What are the 4 and 5 ml samples for?

For trying out before you settle on a formula. With Eros that pays off especially well, because the same formula exists in up to six sizes – once you know which one suits you, you buy the 1000 ml canister next and pay considerably less per millilitre.

Which cleaner do I use for what?

The all-purpose cleaner for toys in silicone, glass and metal, the Intimate Toy cleaner for more delicate surfaces and the alcohol-free one for anything that reacts to alcohol. The latex cleaner is meant purely for latex clothing, not for toys. See sex toy cleaner.

What measurements are on file?

Only for one of the 177 items, the Aqua Fun set at 21 x 4.8 cm – but with gels and oils a measurement is beside the point. What counts is the fill volume, and that is in the title.
