They close with a buckle and are joined by a short chain with snap hooks that can be detached. The embossing forms a diamond pattern, the edges are bound in black and stitched with red thread, and a small black tab with the Begme lettering sits on the side. Buckle, rivets, rings and chain are black, and the holes for the buckle pin are reinforced with metal eyelets.
