The Intimate Exfoliant from Femintimate is a scrub for the outer skin of the intimate area. It comes in a small, soft PE tube that stands on its white cap, so the contents collect at the front. The tube carries the silver “Intimate Exfoliant” lettering on a pink background and the Femintimate logo; it belongs to the same line as the brand’s Clarifying Cream, Hygiene Mousse and lubricant. A scrub is the product in this line where restraint matters most: once or twice a week is enough, more often irritates the skin rather than doing it good. How do you use it?

Put a small amount on damp skin, spread it with gentle circular movements without rubbing, and then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Afterwards just pat the skin dry.

Where exactly is it applied?

To the outer skin: mons pubis, outer labia and groin crease. It does not go into the vagina or onto the delicate skin of the inner labia.

How does it fit with shaving?

Ideally a day before shaving or a day after at the earliest. On freshly shaved skin any scrub can sting, because small nicks are still open.

How do you test whether it suits you?

Before the first use, put a little in the crook of your arm, rinse it off after a short while and wait a day. If the skin stays calm, you can use it in the intimate area; if it reddens, leave it out.

What comes afterwards?

If you like, a care cream for the outer skin, such as the Clarifying Cream from the same line. Apply it only once the skin is completely dry again after patting.

How do you store it?

Tightly closed, at room temperature and out of direct sunlight, so that no water runs into the tube when it stands in the shower. Once opened, the shelf-life marking on the tube applies.
