The Light Shorts by Bye Bra are short, close-fitting shorts to wear underneath, here in black. The waistband sits at the waist, and the legs end in the upper third of the thighs. There is no seam at the front, and at the back a centre seam runs from the waistband down to the crotch. They are mainly worn under dresses and skirts: fabric then lies between the thighs instead of skin rubbing on skin, and everything stays covered when you sit down or the wind catches your skirt. Polyamide with a share of elastane lies smooth and gives with movement. Try them on before it matters; anything that pinches comes off again after ten minutes. Do the shorts show under tight clothing?

The waistband is a wide, flat band, and the leg openings are cut without a thick hem. So under close-fitting dresses there are no edges pressing through.

Which size fits?

Your usual size; Light Shorts come in S to XXL. They sit close but should not cut in at the waistband or the legs: a waistband leaving a groove is too small.

How are they washed?

At thirty degrees and without fabric softener, then dried flat. Softener and tumble dryer take the tension out of the elastane, and that tension is what holds the shorts in place. Wash them separately from light colours the first few times.

How short can the skirt be?

A good bit longer than the shorts: a skirt rides up when you sit down and swings open when you take long strides, and if it is too short, the leg openings then peek out.

When do I choose black, when beige?

Black under dark dresses and skirts. Under light and thin clothing beige stands out less; cut and material are the same in both colours.
