How does the feather trim hold?

It is sewn on. Marabou still loses individual feathers - that is normal and not a defect. Wash by hand only and without rubbing.

How is it washed?

By hand, cool and without fabric softener. Elastane loses its recovery in heat, and lace does not like a drum. Dry flat, do not wring.
