The tube says WATERLUBE SENSITIVE - in the shop this gel was called „spring water“ so far, a free translation of „water“ that hid the product name. What is inside is a water-based lubricant of the plain sort: no fragrance, no flavour, no warming additive, but what the label promises - „wet & slippery feeling“. That brevity is exactly the point: the less is in it, the less can irritate, which is why the version is called Sensitive. The 30 ml tube is the small one of the two. Who is Sensitive meant for?

For anyone whose skin itches or stings with a normal gel. Fragrance, flavour and warming additives are the usual suspects; where they are absent, less is left for skin to react to.

Is it compatible with condoms and toys?

Yes, with both. Water-based gels attack neither latex nor silicone - that is why they are the right choice in almost every situation. Silicone oil cannot do that, see silicone lubricant.

How much of it do you need?

More than you think, and rather topped up along the way than waited for. Water-based gels soak in over time; a few drops of water on the skin wake them up again instead of needing a fresh application.

How is it stored?

How does it come off again?

With water alone. Water-based gels dissolve without residue and come out of fabrics in a normal wash. The price: they soak in over time, which is why you top up rather than waiting until it gets uncomfortable.
