Lubricant JoyDivision AQUAglide Exotic Water Based 100 ml 🍍
„Exotic lubricant“ was the article's name so far - but Exotic is not an adjective, it is the variety name the manufacturer prints on the tube. Pictured are pineapple, papaya and kiwano; the fragrance goes in the same direction. Underneath sits the same medical lubricant as in the whole AQUAglide range: water-soluble and greaseless, pH-optimized, condom-compatible, dermatologically and clinically tested, made in Germany. You take a flavour when oral sex is part of it - the taste of a neutral gel gets in the way there more than you would think beforehand. A food it is not, all the same: the tube says „fragrance and taste“, and that is where it stays. One hundred millilitres in the standard tube with a flip cap. Anyone who dislikes the variety will find strawberry, cherry and raspberry in the range, plus two neutral sizes. It stands with flavoured lubricant, under water-based lubricant, in the drugstore section and with the sex toys for couples.

❓ FAQ
What exactly does „Exotic“ taste like?
The manufacturer names no single fruit but a mixture; the tube shows pineapple, papaya and kiwano as a picture. Anyone wanting one clear variety takes strawberry, cherry or raspberry.
Is it edible?
The tube says „fragrance and taste“, not food quality. So it is meant to be tasted and is unproblematic during oral sex, but it is not a food - you should not drink it.
Is it sticky because it is sweet?
It remains a water gel and washes off with water. Flavoured gels feel a little stickier as they dry in than neutral ones; a few drops of water dissolve that.
Does it get on with toys and condoms?
With both. That is the advantage of a water base: silicone oil attacks silicone toys, oil makes condoms unsafe - a water gel has neither problem.
Do you have to top it up?
On longer sessions yes, that comes with a water base. The gel dries in over time; a few drops of water bring it back, and topping up works as well.
Water, silicone or oil - what is the difference?
Water gets on with everything and dries in, silicone lasts a long time and attacks silicone toys, oil makes condoms unsafe. Which base suits when is explained in detail in the lubricant guide.
