Liberté by Secret Play is an intimate oil for external use. Its base is jojoba oil, with wheat germ oil, ylang-ylang flower oil, vitamin E, evening primrose, olive and sunflower oil, extracts of calendula and black truffle and a parfum added. The golden oil comes in a white 50 ml airless pump bottle with a clear cap and a silver base. It is printed with a drawing of a young woman with a hair bun and a pink butterfly on it, above it the name in sweeping script and the line “Sensual Intimate Oil”. It stands under water-based lubricant, with lubricant, under drugstore and with the sex toys.

How do you apply it?

Press the pump head once and spread the small amount of oil on the outside of the intimate area, before or after sex. If needed, take more or apply it several times a day. Because the pump works airtight, no air reaches the oil as you dispense.

Does it work with condoms?

Not with latex condoms. Oil attacks latex, and a condom can tear as a result. If you need lubricant with a condom, use a water-based gel; you will find a selection under water-based lubricant. For toys, too, a water-based gel is the safer choice.

What does it smell like?

Of ylang-ylang and parfum. Benzyl salicylate, hexyl cinnamal, linalool, hydroxycitronellal, coumarin, eugenol, benzyl benzoate and farnesol are listed individually as fragrances; if you do not tolerate one of them, leave the oil out.

What about sensitive skin?

Test it on a small spot on the inside of your elbow before first use and wait a few hours. If the skin reddens or itches, stop using it. It does not go into the eyes and is not meant to be swallowed.

What do you watch out for with bed linen?

Oil can leave stains in fabric, so put a towel underneath. You will find more oils for massage under massage products.

How do you store it?

With the cap on, cool, dry and out of the sun, out of the reach of children.
