The water-based lubricant by Crushious is flavourless and comes in the small bottle, meant for trying out. It is not sticky and washes off with water without leaving stains. The clear, blue-printed bottle has a black pump dispenser with safety cap that is twisted to open and releases one drop per press. Lubricant is not only for emergencies. Even people who get wet on their own get more out of it with a little gel, because friction becomes more even; the most common reason things get uncomfortable after a while is not dryness from the start but dryness after twenty minutes. Anally the rule is: take more than you think, and top up in between. If you react sensitively, try a new gel on the inside of your elbow first. Is it condom-safe?

Yes. Water-based gels do not attack latex, unlike oil and petroleum jelly, which make a condom useless within minutes. Condoms are under condoms.

Does it suit silicone toys?

Yes. Only silicone oil attacks silicone, water does not. That makes a water-based gel the one kind that suits genuinely every material.

What do you do when it soaks in?

A splash of water brings most water-based gels back; that is the usual trick and cheaper than topping up.

How do you apply it?

Put a few drops on your fingers, the toy or the condom and spread them there. Between your fingers the gel loses the chill from the bottle within a few seconds.

Can it come along when travelling?

Yes. Twisted shut and with the safety cap on, the pump head releases nothing, and the small bottle fits in any wash bag.

How is the bottle stored?

Upright and away from direct sun or a radiator. Wipe the pump head briefly after use so nothing dries on it and the opening stays clear.
