The Bio Massage 2in1 from Hot is a vegan water-based massage and lubricant gel for the body and the intimate area. The ingredient list is short: water, vegetable glycerin, carrageenan from red algae and dehydroxanthan gum as gelling agents, plus citric acid and sodium benzoate. The light green tube with a blue cap carries the seals “NCP Nature Care Product” and “Vegan” and the lettering “Eco Tube”; it is made of bio-based plastic and is recyclable. What is it meant for?

For full-body massages and as a lubricant in the intimate area, including when it feels dry there. You first spread it over larger areas for the massage and then simply carry on without switching products. Bio is the name of the range.

Is it compatible with toys?

Yes. A water-based lubricant is compatible with all toy materials, silicone included. Silicone-based gels are under silicone lubricant; you are better off not combining those with silicone toys.

What is the difference from a massage oil?

The base. This gel is water-based and washes off with water, while an oil stays on the skin longer. Massage oils are under massage products.

How is it stored?

Tightly closed, dry, protected from sunlight and between 0 and 30 degrees. After opening, use the tube for six months at most. Clean toys after use with warm water or a product from sex toy cleaner.

How does it come off again?

With water. It comes out of fabrics in a normal wash. Because a water-based gel soaks in over time, simply add a little more during a long massage rather than waiting until it starts to drag.
