The Hemp Seed 3-in-1 Massage Candle Guavalava by Earthly Body is candle, massage oil and skin care in one tin. The candle sits in a brown metal tin with a lid, and the wax is made of plant oils rather than paraffin. A burning candle is not left unattended and stays out of reach of children and pets. Guavalava smells of guava and blackberry. Whatever is left sets again as it cools and can be lit once more. To keep that clean, trim the wick to a few millimetres before every lighting; a long wick soots and darkens the oil. The tin and its contents can be hot. So test the oil on your own forearm before it goes on the other person's back, and never pour from a height.

How is it used?

Light it and let it burn until the wax has melted to the edge of the tin, then put out the wick. Pour the oil into your hand or take it out with a spoon and apply it to the skin.

Is the oil condom-safe?

No. It is an oil and attacks latex; it does not belong on silicone toys either. As a lubricant take a water-based one from water-based lubricant.

Does it work without a massage?

Yes, the melted oil can also be applied to the skin as a daily moisturiser.

What is in it?

Hydrogenated vegetable oil, soybean, hemp seed, apricot kernel, avocado, jojoba and coconut oil, plus vitamin E and fragrance. Because the ingredients are natural, the colour of the wax can change over time. Once opened, it keeps for twelve months.

What if the skin reacts?

Wash the oil off and stop using the candle.
