🕯️ Earthly Body – four massage candles, a butter, a shaving cream

The collection is small and clearly sorted: six items, of which four are massage candles. Alongside them sit a body butter and a shaving cream. Bottled massage oil and lubricant are not part of the brand here – those are under massage products and lubricant.

🔥 How a massage candle works

You light it, let it burn briefly, put out the flame and spread the hand-warm oil on the skin. The candle becomes the massage oil – which is why the wax melts at a low temperature. Even so: test it on the back of your own hand first, before it goes onto anyone else's back.

• Mango and cherry at 113 g each are heart-shaped and expressly edible
• Guavalava and Skinny Dip at 170 g each come in a jar and melt into an oil made from six natural oils that doubles as skincare

🧴 Butter and shaving cream

The Isle of You body butter at 227 g is a dense intensive care for dry spots such as heels, elbows and knees, and according to the manufacturer gentle enough for the face. The Miracle Oil shaving cream at 237 ml relies on tea tree and works against dryness and razor bumps. Both fit with intimate hygiene.

⚠️ Oil and condoms do not go together

With this brand that is the decisive note: everything here that melts or nourishes is oil-based. Oil makes latex porous – if you rely on condoms, candle oil must not be used as a lubricant. ❓ Frequently asked questions

How hot does a massage candle get?

Considerably less hot than an ordinary candle – the wax is formulated to melt at a low temperature. The back-of-the-hand test costs two seconds and stays compulsory all the same.

What does edible mean on a candle?

That the melted oil is flavoured and fine to lick off. At Earthly Body that applies to mango and cherry. It is still not a food: apply sparingly and follow the notes on the tin.

Can I use the candle oil as a lubricant?

Better not. It is oil-based, attacks latex and does not belong on silicone toys. For the transition from massage to sex you need a water-based lubricant.

113 g or 170 g – what is enough?

The small heart candles at 113 g are meant for one evening together; the jars at 170 g last longer and can be lit repeatedly. If you want to try the format first, start with the small one.

How is it delivered?
