The Hemp Seed 3-in-1 by Earthly Body comes in the Skinny Dip scent and combines three things in one tin: candle, massage oil and skin care. The candle sits in a brown metal tin with a single wick in the centre, and a lid closes it between evenings. The wax in this range is built on hemp seed oil. Whatever is left sets again as it cools and can be lit once more. To keep that clean, trim the wick to a few millimetres before every lighting, because a long wick soots and darkens the oil. Where does the oil go?

On large areas of skin such as shoulders, arms and legs, where your hands have room to massage. It does not go on mucous membranes or in the intimate area.

How is it used?

Light it, let it burn ten to fifteen minutes until enough wax has melted, put out the wick and carefully pour the melted oil out of the tin. The tin stays hot, so hold it by the base.

Is the oil condom-safe?

No. It is an oil and attacks latex; it does not belong on silicone toys either. As a lubricant take a water-based one from water-based lubricant.

How is the candle stored?

Let it cool completely until the wax has set again, then put the lid on. That keeps dust out of the wax. The tin is best kept away from radiators and direct sunlight, otherwise the wax softens.
