Can I use it to glide rather than massage?

Not for the intimate area. Oil sits on mucous membranes, washes off poorly and makes any latex condom unreliable. If you want both in one evening, put a water-based gel next to it - those are under water-based lubricant.

Is it compatible with toys?

With glass, metal and stainless steel yes, with silicone only up to a point and with latex not at all. On silicone toys oil is not the main enemy, but it leaves a film that is hard to remove; after contact the toy wants cleaning with water and a cleaner from sex toy cleaner.

Does it come out of bedding again?
