Nami can be used at either end and separates the jobs cleanly: one end is curved and works with pulse waves, the other carries the broad head of a massage stick and vibrates. The pulse wave at the curved end comes from a membrane displacing air, not from an unbalanced motor. That is why it can be combined with the vibration at the massage head without turning into an undifferentiated buzz. On a double-ended device in particular, this difference is what makes switching between the ends noticeable. Can I use both ends at once?

Technically yes, the motors run independently. In practice you usually take one end and mute the other, as the stick is otherwise hard to guide.

Does the head replace a proper massage wand?

For outside use it comes close. It is slimmer than a classic wand and therefore less hefty, but easier to handle.

How firm is the silicone?

The curved part yields slightly, the head is firmer. Both are seamlessly covered, with no edge where anything could collect.
