The Charisma Allure by CalExotics is a massage wand made of dark blue silicone in the classic wand shape: a round head on a short, flexible neck, with a handle below that curves slightly towards the end. The silicone is matt and velvety, and spiral ridges run across the handle. They give your hand grip, even when lubricant is involved. Inside, two motors produce twelve vibration functions. It is operated with two push buttons on the handle that are easy to feel. It comes in a box with a colour gradient from violet through pink to orange, with the Charisma lettering running vertically. Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one. Silicone-based lubricant can attack the silicone surface and leave it dull. The selection is under water-based lubricant.

Can it go under water?

Yes. It is waterproof to IPX7 and can handle brief submersion, so the bath is fine too. Before you plug in the charging cable, the charging port must be completely dry again.

How is it best to start?

With the weakest function and over fabric or skin nearby, not straight on the most sensitive spot. From there you build up function by function. The travel lock prevents it from switching on in your bag.

Can it be used anally or for insertion?

No. A massage wand is placed on the body; the round head is not shaped for insertion, and there is no flared base for anal play.

How is it cleaned?

With lukewarm water and a sex toy cleaner, especially at the transition between head and neck and in the ridges. Then let it air-dry and store it apart from other silicone toys.
