The First Time massage wand by CalExotics is a small, rechargeable massage wand made of purple silicone. A round head sits on a short, flexible neck, followed by a rounded handle that sits comfortably in one hand. On the handle there is a single, slightly raised button that you can find without looking. Ten vibration functions are available. The silicone is matt and feels soft. The flexible neck lets the head give slightly when you rest it on the body, rather than pressing hard against it. It is meant for external use: on the clitoris, on the nipples or as a small massager for neck and shoulders. Small and light as it is, it fits into any handbag. How is it charged?

With the enclosed magnetic USB cable. The plug docks onto the lower side of the handle and is held in place by the magnet. For travelling it has a travel lock, so it does not switch on in your bag.

Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one. Silicone-based lubricant can attack the silicone and leave the surface dull. The selection is under water-based lubricant.

Can it go in the bath?

Yes. To IPX7 it can handle brief submersion, so the shower and the bath are no problem. Dry the charging contacts before you attach the cable again.

How is it best to start?

With the weakest function and next to the most sensitive spot at first rather than directly on it. Try the ten functions one after another at your leisure; that way you find out which one suits you.

Can it be used anally or for insertion?

No. The round head is shaped to rest on the body, and there is no flared base for anal play.

How is it cleaned?

With lukewarm water and a sex toy cleaner, especially at the transition between head and neck. Then let it air-dry and store it apart from other silicone toys.
