Why was it called Model 3 until now?

Because no name stood in the feed and the line number slipped into the title. The handle calls it Violet, and the small version carries the same grip. Both are named that way now so they are recognisable as a pair.

Is this really a massage device?

For the neck, shoulders, arms and feet yes, and the manufacturer advertises it expressly as such. A wand differs from an ordinary vibrator through its large, soft head and its power at the lower end; that suits muscles as well as everything else.

How is it cleaned?

Warm water and toy cleaner, keeping clear of the charging contacts at the base and letting it dry completely. The only lubricant that belongs with it is water-based lubricant, because silicone-based products dull the surface.
