How do the two openings differ?

In shape and in how tight the channel is. One is wider, the other narrower, so you can switch between two noticeably different versions without needing a second device. Both belong to the same inner sleeve and are cleaned together.

How do I clean it thoroughly?

Pull out the inner sleeve, rinse it through with warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner, let it dry completely and only then put it back in the housing.

Can I take it into the shower?

Yes, it is built for that. Only charge it once the charging socket is dry again, or the electronics will take damage. Warm water in the channel also makes the material more supple.

Which lubricant fits?

Water-based only. Products containing silicone dissolve the soft surface of the inner sleeve and leave it permanently sticky. Use plenty of it, as the channel is tight and otherwise builds up too much friction.
