Why does TPE need powdering?

Because without powder the surface turns sticky over time and attracts dust. A little cornstarch on the dry material is enough and rinses off before the next use. Talc is the wrong choice for it.

How do I clean the channels?

Flush them with warm water and toy cleaner until nothing more comes out. Then let them dry thoroughly, ideally overnight with the openings facing down.

Is 2.4 kilograms little?
