You squeeze them, place them on the nipple and let go; the suction holds them by itself and both hands stay free. Because the material is see-through, you can watch how the skin reacts. Each sucker is shaped like a small bell: a round dome at the top, a narrower waist below it and a slightly flared rim at the bottom that rests on the skin. How long may they stay on?

Ten to fifteen minutes at a stretch, no longer. Remove them at once if there is numbness, coldness, tingling, pain or blue discolouration. Better several short rounds with breaks than one that lasts too long.

How do you take them off?

Release the suction first: squeeze the sucker gently or lift the edge with a finger until air gets in. Never pull it off under full suction. Afterwards the skin stays sensitive for a while and may be reddened.

How strong should the suction be?

Strong enough to pull pleasantly, no more. The harder you squeeze the sucker before placing it, the more it pulls; start with a light squeeze and build up slowly.

Do you need lubricant?

No, but a touch of water-based lubricant on the rim adds to the seal if the suction will not hold. Silicone oil and fat-based products stay away from them, as they attack TPE and make it tacky.

How are they cleaned?

With lukewarm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner, inside and out, then left to dry well. TPE is porous, so the suckers belong to one person.

How do you store them?

Dry in the bag they come in, apart from other toys. Soft TPE picks up colour from other plastics and dyed fabrics if it touches them for long.
