How long and how strongly may you apply suction?

Squeeze the bulb only a little the first time and increase the suction slowly. No more than about fifteen minutes at a time, much shorter when starting out. It may pull firmly but must not hurt: at numbness, pain or dark discolouration, take the suckers off at once. They are not used on irritated or broken skin or during breastfeeding.

How do you take them off?
