What does IPX7 mean?

The device survives a brief submersion. That makes it fit for shower and bath and it can be rinsed under running water - but it is still only charged once the contacts are dry.

Which diameter fits?

About a centimetre and a half more than your own girth calls for. Too wide a cylinder builds no usable vacuum, too narrow a one presses against the wall - both cost more than they give.

How does a pump actually work?

It draws air out of the cylinder. The vacuum lets more blood flow in, and that is visible for as long as it is used. It does not create a permanent increase - nor does Pumped claim anywhere that it does.

How long may it be pumped?

Ten to fifteen minutes at a time, no longer. Release the pressure in between. Going beyond that risks bruises and burst capillaries rather than a better result.

How do you notice the pressure is too high?

By numbness, tingling or a dark discolouration. Open the valve at once. Pain is not a sign of effect but the signal to stop.

What does the sleeve do?

It seals. Without a clean seal against the body no vacuum builds up - the most common reason a pump appears not to work. Shaved skin seals better, and a drop of lubricant on the rim helps - suitable ones stand under water-based lubricant.

How is it cleaned?

Cylinder with warm water and soap, sleeve separately. The pump unit and anything holding electronics never goes under a running tap. Let it dry before the parts go back together.
