What does the gauge show?

How strong the vacuum is at the moment. After a few strokes you can see whether anything has changed, instead of going by feel alone. It serves as a guide; it does not set a safe maximum.

How is the band attached?

Around the outside of the cylinder. The bullet with its silver tip sits in a holder on one side, an elongated control unit on the other. If you take the band off, the pump can be used as normal.

How do you pump safely?

Increase slowly and hold for only a few minutes. Draw the air out with calm strokes and take breaks. Pain, numbness, discolouration or blisters are the sign to open the release valve at once. Keep the testicles outside the cylinder, and do not pump on injured skin.
