The Seamless High-Waist Brief by Bye Bra is made for anything that fits close. The waistband reaches well above the waist, past the point where an ordinary brief cuts in; that way there is no brief edge at the waist under high-cut trousers and skirts. At the back the brief covers the bottom completely, and the surface is smooth, without lace, pattern or decorative edging. It is made of 80% polyamide and 20% elastane and sits close to the body. In black it suits dark clothing; wash it apart from light items for the first few washes, as dark fabric can bleed at first. This one is size L. What does seamless mean exactly?

Waistband and leg edges are cleanly cut instead of hemmed and have no elastic band, so that no edge shows through tight clothing.

Which size fits?

Your usual size. Nothing should cut in, neither at the waistband nor at the legs; a waistband that leaves a groove is too small.

How is it washed?

At thirty degrees and without fabric softener. Softener destroys the tension of the elastane, and that tension is what holds the brief in place.

How is it dried?

Flat on the clothes airer, not in the tumble dryer and not on the radiator. Heat makes the elastane brittle, and then the waistband and leg edges slacken faster.

How do I best put it on with the high waistband?

Step in and pull the brief up over your hips first. Then push the high waistband upwards with flat hands instead of pulling at the top edge; that way the fabric spreads evenly and the edge is not overstretched.

How do I store it?

Folded in a drawer, not next to bras with open hooks or clothing with hook-and-loop fastening. Both can pull threads out of the smooth fabric.
