The Seamless High-Waist Thong by Bye Bra combines two things that otherwise exclude each other: invisible at the back and a wide waistband at the front. The fabric is knitted rather than sewn together, so neither a seam nor an edge shows under a dress, skirt or tight trousers. The waistband reaches above the waist, and at the back the thong tapers to a narrow strip. At the front it is cut like an ordinary brief and fully covers the pubic area, and a gusset is set into the crotch on the inside. It is made of 90% polyamide and 10% elastane and sits close to the body. In beige, a light, warm skin tone, it stays inconspicuous even under light, thin clothing. How are the edges finished?

The edges are cut rather than hemmed and do not roll up while you wear it.

Which size fits?

Your usual size. The waistband must not cut in: if it leaves a groove on your skin after you take it off, go one size up.

How is it washed?

At thirty degrees and without fabric softener, then dried flat rather than in the tumble dryer. Softener and heat take the tension out of the elastane, and that tension is what holds the thong in place.

Does it go with low-rise trousers?

Not really, because the high waistband would show above low-rise trousers. It works best under dresses, skirts and high-waisted trousers.

What do polyamide and elastane bring?

Polyamide is a smooth, light fibre that dries quickly after washing. The elastane makes the fabric stretchy, so the thong moves with you when you sit or bend.
