❓ FAQ

How do the bands run over the cups?

In a V towards the centre. From both straps they run diagonally inwards and meet between the cups at a small gold-coloured ring.

How is the set washed?

By hand, below 30 degrees. Lace and narrow bands do not survive the drum; a laundry bag is not protection enough. Then dry it flat.

How see-through is the fabric?

The lace shows outlines. It is unlined and lies directly on the skin.

What does the lace look like?

Black, with two kinds of flowers. Large leaves and blossoms alternate with small round flowers whose outlines stand out in a light shade; the top edge of the cups is scalloped.

What colour is the fastening?

Gold-coloured, matching the ring. It sits in the middle of the smooth black underband at the back.

What if a thread pulls?

Do not cut it off; draw it inside with a blunt needle. A cut thread keeps running, a pulled-through one holds.

How is it stored?

Lying flat, not on a hanger. Lace and elastic give way under their own weight if a piece hangs for months.

How discreetly does it arrive?

In a plain box with no hint of the contents. The sender line says nothing that would tell the neighbours anything.

What goes with it?

Gloves or a choker.
