How much lubricant does anal need?

Considerably more than you would guess, and top up in between rather than waiting until it gets uncomfortable. Nothing gets wet by itself anally; that is the whole reason a separate gel exists for it.

Why not a numbing gel?

Because pain during anal sex is a warning sign. Anyone who numbs it away notices an injury only later. An anal gel is meant to make things glide, not to make you insensitive.

May it go on silicone toys?

No. Silicone on silicone can attack the surface of the toy. For silicone toys use a water-based lubricant.

What else belongs with it?

How does it wash off?
