Why is no percentage given for the material?

Because the supplier gives two different ones: once 100 % polyamide, once 92 % polyamide with 8 % elastane. Which is right cannot be decided from the outside. That elastane is in there is shown by the stretch band - so only what is certain is stated here.

Do they stay up without suspenders?

The top finish decides: a silicone strip in the band holds by itself, a plain elastic finish holds through tension. What never hurts: the band needs grease-free skin - anyone moisturising first will not wonder for long about slipping stockings.

What does one size mean here?

Leg Avenue lists one size as EU 34 to 40 and plus size as EU 42 to 46. With hosiery the thigh circumference decides above all - that is where the band sits, and that is where it gets uncomfortable if it is too tight.

How do you put them on without ruining them?

Rings off, nails checked, gather the stocking to the heel, place the foot inside and roll the leg up slowly. Never pull on the band - that is where the join tears first.
