The Boundless Multi-Purpose Harness by CalExotics combines a curved silicone vibrator with a black silicone plate and adjustable straps around the hips and thighs. Several ridges run round the shaft below the rounded tip; the plate sits at the base of the vibrator, has slots for the straps and ends at the bottom in an open loop. How is the vibrator charged?

Via USB cable. It is switched on and the functions are changed with the button on the shaft, just above the plate. Models without a motor are under dildos.

How do you put it on?

Put the hip strap round your waist and the two loops round your thighs, then tighten all the straps at the buckles until the plate sits flat and firm. A harness that slips makes the movement uncontrollable, so take your time the first time you put it on and set everything before you start.

Who wears it and who does not?

That is for you to decide, not the product. A strap-on is genderless: it can be worn by anyone, regardless of what is underneath. Further models are under strap-ons.

How much lubricant does it take?

Considerably more than you would guess, and anally more again than vaginally, because nothing gets wet by itself there. Take a water-based one, because silicone does not tolerate silicone lubricant; suitable ones are under water-based lubricant.

How is it cleaned?

Wash the vibrator and plate with warm water and a sex toy cleaner; both are waterproof to IPX7 and may go fully under water. Wipe the straps and air them. With a partner, a condom belongs over the vibrator when switching between people or between anal and vaginal.
